The evil perpetrated against our people by Nigeria government is gradually haunting them 15181419_10154700862724820_3126865551555139413_n

The evil perpetrated against our people by Nigeria government is gradually haunting them.
It's quite unfortunate that, Nigeria government after ceding Bakassi people to another Country, La Republique du Cameroun in the name of adjustment of maritime boundary in other to compensate Cameroun over role in Biafra war are no longer interested in the well being of the people.

We all know that after the ICJ Ruling, conditions were spelt out for La Republique du Cameroun contained in the GREEN TREE AGREEMENT between both countries as directed by the Court.

Among the conditions is that La Republique shall not force the people to change their nationality, and must respect their culture and religious practices which automatically created two different boarders in Cameroun today separating the Bakassi people and La Republique du Cameroun.

In the GREEN TREE AGREEMENT, La Republique du Cameroun "shall not impose tax on Bakassians".
The GREEN TREE AGREEMENT further gave the people fishing rights in the Peninsula governed by La Republique and the side of Nigeria.

These explains that La Republique du Cameroun shall only establish Military and Police presence in the ceded area and for the purpose of drilling oil and not Administrative presence hence the nationality of the people remains the same.
Nigeria government no longer monitor the country she sold a people to on the need to respect the agreement directed by the court and witnessed by UN under the then Leadership of Koffi Annan.

Today, there is no development in the ceded area, the people are being killed on a daily bases by Cameroun Soldiers.
The people do not have fishing rights anymore as they were given non salty part of the Peninsula to fish which is against the GREEN TREE AGREEMENT.

These action forced many to abandon their homes to Nigeria controlled area in Bakassi LGA of Cross River State, camps were built for them without facilities, and pipe bone water, no good hospital.

The people now live as refugees in Akpabuyo and Ekpri Ikang.
On the 12th of April, 2016 displaced youths brought the report to the Leadership of Biafra Nations Youth League in Ikom, Cross River State detailing what they are passing through and why they wouldn't want Biafra to abandon them.

In reactions to this, the BNYL moved Headquarters to the region and began programs with the refugees, surprisingly the Nigeria government under President Mohammadu Buhari in a swift reaction ordered Troops of OPERATION DELTA SAFE to apprehend the BNYL Leader Comrade: Prince C. Obuka at Ikang-Cameroun boarder and was locked up in DSS net without access to communication for three days which is an act of kidnap.
In another surprise move, the Nigeria government yesterday 21st November 2016 visited the IDP Camps to reiterate government commitment to commence #5000 payment to the people which they stopped for long, this is politics to deceive our people.

Thanks to Almighty for revealing the truth.
If the Nigeria government is sincere should have protected the people she swore to protect, but the reverse is the case.
If the Nigerian government had listened to the cry of the people wouldn't have led to the ongoing violence by the Bakassi Strike Force Militants as well as other militant activities in other areas.

We urge the Buhari administration to allow a referendum for Biafrans to decide their faith.
Signed
National Leadership
BNYL
